Hi, I'm Sandra Alsaffawi
I’m a family lawyer based in Ontario with over 10 years of experience helping people navigate some of life’s most challenging moments. Whether you’re going through a separation, dealing with a custody matter, or simply trying to understand your rights. I’m here to listen, guide, and fight for you.
My approach is simple: I believe every person deserves honest, compassionate legal support. I’ll always explore every opportunity to resolve your matter peacefully, but when the situation calls for it, I won’t hesitate to advocate strongly on your behalf.
Beyond The Practice
Community & Character
I have been volunteering since high school, from organizing donation drives for families in need through the Catholic Children’s Aid Society’s Adopt-a-Family program to serving as a Big Sister with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Toronto. My commitment to people has always extended far beyond the courtroom.
Advocacy & Government Relations
As a director with Conceivable Dreams, a patient advocacy group, I successfully lobbied the Ontario government to fund IVF for all Ontarians. I represented the cause in national and provincial media including The Globe and Mail, CBC, CTV, and The Windsor Star. I was subsequently invited to sit on the provincial government’s advisory panel to help implement the program, which remains in place today.
Leadership & Governance
I serve as a Director on the Board of the Family Lawyers Association of Ontario and bring 15 years of board-level governance experience including financial oversight, budgeting, and long-term planning. As Social Director of Westwood Sailing Club, I revitalized community programming following the pandemic, growing attendance from fewer than 15 to over 150 members.
